Hermes privacy policy

Hermes is a private assistant used by a single person, its owner, on his own home server.

Google data accessed

The Google Calendar of the owner: the list of his calendars, the events on them, and the ability to create, change and delete events on calendars he owns. Scopes: calendar.calendarlist.readonly, calendar.events.readonly and calendar.events.owned. Hermes cannot change calendar sharing or settings, and does not modify calendars it does not own.

How it is used

Only to answer questions from the owner about his schedule, to help him plan his day, and to create, move or remove events on his own calendars for him. Changes are made only for the owner, and Hermes reports each change back to him.

Storage and sharing

Data is processed on the home server of the owner. Google data is not sold, shared with third parties, used for advertising, or used to train AI models. Event details the owner asks about may be sent to the AI model provider that generates the replies of Hermes, solely to produce that reply.

Revoking access

Access can be revoked at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
